Maharashtra Chulha Free Scheme- Rs 100 Crore Allocated in MahaBudget

Maharashtra Chulha Free Scheme has been announced in the MahaBudget on 18th June 2019. State Government has sanctioned Rs 100 crore for implementing the Maharashtra Chulha Free Scheme. Firstly Maharashtra Government will run Chulha Free LPG Gas Connection Scheme in Naxal areas and districts prone to farmer suicides. This scheme will launch as a pilot project. Under this Scheme state government will provide free gas LPG connection to those families who has not been covered under the Ujjwala Yojana.

Aimed to Provide a smoke-free environment in the kitchen for women and protect women from hazardous domestic pollution state government are going to start Chulha Free Connection scheme in those areas who don’t fulfill the criteria of Central government’s Ujjawal Yojana.

Chulha Free Connection Scheme 2019

State Government will soon start Chulha Free Gas Connection Scheme same as centre’s Free LPG Gas connection Scheme. Under this Project state government will establish nodal agency which will be responsible for implementing the Scheme in selected areas.  In the first phase Chulha Free Connection scheme will be run as a Pilot Project and after getting the results from it state government will implement it in entire state.         

How to Apply for Chulha Free Scheme

At this time Project are at their early stages. Government has not released any additional information regarding Registration Process, Guidelines, Benefits and Brief Details. We will update here each detail as soon as government will update it.
